Guy Richie was born in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK  on September 10, 1968. Guy wrote and directed his first film at the age of 29. Guy isn't just a director he also writes the screenplay for most of his movies. Guy Richie also directed the Sherlock Holmes films starting 2009.  Gut Richie has been nominated for 16 awards winning 8 of them. 

Snatch is a action, comedy. The film follows a range of different characters who are all trying to achieve something different from the other but all of the stores interlink somehow. The film stats at the end of the film, Turkish is having a flashback and narrating the story through out. 

In the beginning of snatch the opening scene is a tracking shot of CCTV footage screens as the characters are walking through the building, this is telling us that something illegal is about to happen and that this building is very securer and heavily guarded. The characters are dressed like stereotypical Jews, this is because the stereotypical Jew is that they are greedy.  There are other scenes were CCTV cameras are relative, when Sol and Vinny are robbing the bookies, this makes the film feel more realistic to the audience. 

The Budget for Snatch was an estimate £6,000,000. It grossed over £30,093,107
